Both the volume of garlic arriving and the number of buyers saw a slight increase. At the South Outer Ring market, the number of buying agents rose to around 47, with over 60 mobile garlic trucks on site. Large-truck loads accounted for a certain proportion of the supply. Buyers were quite selective, mostly looking for reasonably priced goods. Some newly opened storage facilities were actively issuing purchase orders, while sellers remained firm on their asking prices.
